Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California residents can opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. Here is what that means and how to do it.

This page is a general-information template, not legal advice. It should be reviewed by a licensed California attorney before the dealership relies on it.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. We do not sell your information for money, but our use of advertising and analytics cookies, and our passing of lead details to lenders at your request, may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” under California law. You can opt out using any method below — we will not ask you to create an account or verify your identity to do so.

1. Global Privacy Control (recommended)

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) — a signal your browser or a browser extension can send automatically. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser and device, with no further action needed from you. Learn how to enable GPC at globalprivacycontrol.org.

2. Contact us to opt out

You can also tell us directly, and we will process your request:

We honor verified opt-out requests within 15 business days. Opting out does not require an account, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.

What this covers

This opt-out applies to the sale/sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and to disclosures to advertising partners. It does not stop disclosures we make to service providers acting on our behalf, transfers you specifically request (such as sending your application to a lender), or disclosures required by law.

For full details on what we collect and how we use it, see our Privacy Policy. Questions: [email protected] · [legal entity name].
